The eBay Price Checker Tool

Vendoo is integrated with eBay’s price checker tool: eBay Product Research. Vendoo displays the average listing price and average sold price for similar items in the Vendoo form 🔥

How to Use Vendoo's eBay Price Checker Tool:

Pricing and researching your listings is easier than ever with the eBay Price Checker in Vendoo.

Here’s how it works:

  1. You must be connected to your eBay account to use this tool in Vendoo. Connect on the Marketplace Connection screen.

⭐️ Note that you must have an eBay account to use this tool in Vendoo. It does not need to be a paid eBay subscription; you can use this tool with a free eBay account as long as Seller Hub is enabled on your eBay account.

  2. Then, you will access item insights directly on the Vendoo form below the price field.

Notice how the average listing price and average sold price are displayed below the price field as suggestions to help you price competitively.

This information is based on the title you have in the Vendoo form. Essentially, Vendoo is using the eBay Product Research Tool to provide these insights for similar items in the last 30 days.

  3. You can also click "Open" to open a new tab directly in the eBay research tool for additional data and insights about your item.

With the Price Checker tool, powerful analytics and pricing data are at your fingertips. 🚀

eBay Price Checker FAQ:

Where does Vendoo get the pricing information and statistics?

Vendoo gets this information directly from eBay. Vendoo is providing a shortcut display to information provided by the eBay Product Research Tool. Learn more here.

Why don’t I see the price checker information on the Vendoo form?

If you don’t see the tool, it is likely because you are not connected to eBay. You can connect your eBay account to Vendoo in the marketplace connection screen.

Note that you must have an eBay account to use this feature and that you must have Seller Hub enabled on your eBay account. Enable it here.

Do I need an eBay account to use the Price Checker Tool?

Yes, you need an eBay account to access this information as it is directly from eBay. However, you do not need a paid eBay subscription; the feature works on a free eBay account. Make sure you have your eBay Seller Hub enabled. Enable it here.

Why isn’t any price checker information being yielded?

  • The first reason might be that you do not have eBay connected to Vendoo. You can connect your eBay account to Vendoo in the marketplace connection screen.

  • The second reason might be that you do not have Seller Hub enabled in your eBay account. You can enable that here.

  • The third reason might be that there is no pricing data about your item, often because the title you have entered in the Vendoo form is too specific for eBay Product Research.

If eBay is connected, and Seller Hub is enabled, but data is still not displayed, note that there are instances where eBay does not have any pricing information about the item you entered. This might be because there is no listing or sale information about the item.

Remember that the price checker tool uses the title you have entered in Vendoo to yield data. Perhaps you might modify or simplify your title to yield more results.
